AGM Battery

An AGM battery, or Absorbent Glass Mat battery, is a type of valve-regulated lead-acid (VRLA) battery. It uses a fibrous glass mat to absorb and retain the electrolyte, enabling the battery to function in any orientation without spilling. AGM batteries are known for their low internal resistance, which allows for high discharge rates and rapid charging capabilities. They are commonly used in applications where deep cycling is required, such as in renewable energy systems, electric vehicles, and uninterruptible power supplies (UPS). AGM batteries are maintenance-free, have a longer lifespan compared to traditional flooded lead-acid batteries, and offer better durability against vibrations and temperature extremes.
